1.) I believe that media is very important in my life because everything that we do today has some effect in media. For example if we see an infomercial that directs us to buy things we See on TV which is a form of media, that's affecting us and our decision on whether to buy the item or not. also everything we own has something to do with Media whether its from a commercial or if it is an electronic device.
2.) The type of media I am most passionate about i music because I couldn't go a day without listening to my ipod. I listen to music like 24/7 it helps the time pass by when I'm bored or when I want to clean or something it makes it a bit more enjoyable. The type of music i like the most it techno music or electronic music because its different and not like all the other types of music that is on the radio stations mostly.
3.) I don't really have a thought on modern popular culture i guess i like how we keep coming out with new ideas on technology that it makes out lives easier. However we might be taking advantage of how fast we are upgrading our technology and relying on it so much. I don't really follow on the gossip of celebrities i see them as regular people i don't really see how their lives are more interesting than ours just because they make a lot of money. I dislike the gossip of the pop culture and the dramatic scenes the celebrities create like its all bad and we don't have to be in their lives 24/7. there is no good gossip and its not always true its just for entertainment really but i don't fine it interesting at all. i use media for entertainment purposes mostly like i have a TV for shows and a laptop for talking and faceboooking. I have an ipod for music but i do use my laptop for school to.
4.) I am very passionate and strong about the Internet because it helps me communicate with my friends and be social. Also it is good for research and it can be used for multiple things like downloading music,and researching for school and communicating. It is important in my life because i need Internet for basically everything , if there was no Internet i don't know what i would do because I'm not much of a reader so studying would be boring and i would have no social life at all. It has influenced who i am as a person by allowing me to explore other medias all on one type of media so it has expanded my knowledge on a number of levels. It has made me less bored everyday by entertaining me by games, msn, facebook , youtube etc.. So Internet is the media i am most passionate about.
